Stretch your lats

The Titleist Performance Institute demonstrates in the video below, the A-frame stretch. This is perfect for increasing strength and mobility across your lats (latissimus dorsi), thoracic spine, chest and shoulders.

Your latissimus dorsi muscles have the largest surface area of all your muscles and are responsible for producing power when you swing your club. When you swing back, you stretch the muscle and then quickly shorten it on your downswing. If it isn’t properly conditioned and strong, you’ll be at higher risk for injury and pain.
