Stay stabilized and strong

Having a stable pivot relies heavily on a strong core and lower body. This will increase your power and stability – both needed with your pivot. The Titleist Performance Institute highlights this in the video below. Practicing the braced leg backswing movement will help you with stability and strength in your core and lower body and will help you perfect your pivot.

For the perfect pivot you need a strong core. Here’s how a strong core can help your game:
• Stabilize your body through your swing
• Improve rotation
• Improve energy transfer
• Hold good posture

Power up

Strengthen your golf swing and get more distance by strengthening your core and your backswing pivot. If you’re not sure where you’re losing power, book an assessment and we’ll help you identify your strengths and weaknesses.

If you engage in these exercises, you agree that you do so at your own risk and assume all risk of injury to yourself.
