How much spin is enough?

Many golfers are impacted less by excessive or limited spin and more by the ball being knocked off its ideal spin axis. Losing the ball right (left for left-handers) often happens because the ball’s spin axis is tilted to the right.

If your driver’s face is just 1° open at impact, the ball can deviate up to 10 yards right of where you’re aiming. That often adds even more than 10 yards extra to your second. How’s your impact?

When fitting your driver for more distance, we’ll want to make sure that you’re squaring the face at impact. We’ll also check that your angle of attack matches your swing speed so that the launch angle and spin rate produce every bit of carry you’re capable of.
