SLOW THINGS DOWN

Learning to slow down between shots can go a long way to helping you to stay calm and centered out on the course.

SAVE SHOTS, NOT SECONDS

After a few bad shots, do you walk faster to the next shot? Take one practice swing instead of your usual two – or skip them altogether – afraid of getting in your playing partners’ way? You might save a few seconds but you’re wasting shots and your own time.

Walking slower gives you the time to regroup and plot your bounce back.

Taking three deep breaths can actually slow your heartrate down and reduce tension. You always have thirty seconds to breathe.
