Posture perfect

The Titleist Performance Institute shows the chest stretch on a foam roller in the video below. This is particularly good for your chest and c-posture. Poor c-posture is when your shoulders are slumped forwards and you have excessive rounding of your thoracic spine (upper back) – both detrimental to your swing.

With the correct posture, you’re able to make the proper turn back and follow through on your swing for maximum striking accuracy. With poor c-posture, your accuracy, strength and power are reduced and your risk for pain and injury rises. You need to stretch and work on your posture daily, even a few minutes during the day go a long way.

Perfect your posture

Make sure you have the correct posture for a more enjoyable playing experience. A swing assessment is a great way to identify opportunities for us to improve your game.

If you engage in these exercises, you agree that you do so at your own risk and assume all risk of injury to yourself.
