Not reaching 215 yards?

Weighty Matters series | Fitting & Technology

If you’re not hitting tee shots consistently beyond 215 yards, then it is time to come and chat with us. Golf can be made so much more enjoyable if more par 4s are comfortably in reach with a 2nd shot.

If the force hitting the golf ball is acceleration x mass, then there are two numbers we’re interested in.

For many of our golfers, finding ways to get way out beyond 215 yards, is about improving the acceleration component of that calculation. The new generation of lightweight clubs are a massive help. They can bring youth back to the tee box for both our men and our women.

“Super lightweight shafts have actually allowed for the addition of some weight at the ‘butt’ end of the club. The lighter weight promotes a faster swing, but the added weight in the ‘hands’ also helps the consistency of the swing."

Butt end of shaft

Adding weight to the butt end of the shaft, creates weight in the hands, and a higher likelihood that as you transition to the downswing, your hands will find the ‘slot’ and create a better swing path.

Lighter shaft

Superior materials and manufacturing allow shafts to be much lighter AND more consistent.

Clubhead

We’re at a point now where weight can be both distributed and saved in a clubhead.

What weight works for you?

If you think you have a slower swing speed, then please reach out to us. We think we might have some big gains in distance off the tee to unlock for you. It could change the way you see the whole golf course.
