Stay balanced
Make balance your talent

Have you ever seen a golfer swing and you think, “wow”? When their swing is so co-ordinated, it’s like poetry in motion? We know the secret.

The answer is balance through strength. Your arms, torso, neck, shoulders and legs need to be strong in order to move as one. With the right strength exercises you can achieve stability and balance while being dynamic. But it’s important to determine where you’re at, before you can move forward. A swing assessment is where you should start.

A great exercise to improve back strength and stability is the single-leg dead lift. Remember not to go too heavy with the weight, but rather build as you go. You don’t want to injure yourself or tweak a muscle.

Better balance

Before you dive into the weight training, let’s make sure we know where you’re at with your swing.

If you engage in these exercises, you agree that you do so at your own risk and assume all risk of injury to yourself.
